Description
Industrial maintenance processes rely heavily on quick and accurate access to technical documentation. However, traditional formats often present limitations: information is fragmented, not easily accessible on mobile devices, and requires manual searches that slow down interventions. These challenges can impact the efficiency, reliability, and overall cost of operations.
The MR-ESYTWINDX2 project addresses this problem by developing a Mixed Reality environment that transforms how Esypro’s technical documentation is accessed, and used. By combining augmented reality, multiformat interfaces, and a documentary digital twin, the project aims to deliver a more immersive, intuitive, and interactive way of navigating information. This approach will support technicians in the field, streamline maintenance workflows, and set the basis for a more automated and connected documentation ecosystem.
Objectives
The main objective of the MR-ESYTWINDX2 project is to develop a mixed reality environment that enhances the visualization, and use of Esypro’s technical documentation, improving efficiency in maintenance tasks and access to critical information.
The specific objectives are:
- SO1: Implement an augmented reality solution for maintenance tasks, enabling visualization of 3D components and identification of parts via QR codes.
- SO2: Develop a multiformat digital interface that integrates with Esypro databases and ensures intuitive, mobile-friendly access to information.
- SO3: Create a documentary digital twin prototype that links technical documentation with real-time machine data through structured APIs.
